Communications and Information Minister S. Iswaran on Friday (Nov. 6) has announced that 2,700 local businesses in the retail and food and beverage sectors have received about 6.5 million funding support from the government between August and October for their digital transformation.Â
The amount was disbursed through the Digital Resilience Bonus (DRB) which provides businesses with up to $10,000 as they adopt digital solutions by 2021 June 30. This will help companies build an eCommerce website, automate human resources and payroll operations and adopt data analytics.Â
