How did the idea for your business come about?

The idea for AMG Concept came about from my passion for marketing and a desire to help businesses maximize their online presence. I saw a growing need for digital marketing services, and I wanted to create a company that could provide effective solutions to businesses looking to thrive in the online world.

What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

My key driving force to become an entrepreneur was the desire for independence and the opportunity to build something from the ground up. I wanted the freedom to make my own decisions and shape the direction of my business.

How did you come up with the name for your company?

The name “AMG Concept” was created by combining, “A” for Advance, and “M” and “G” for marketing and global, respectively. The word “Concept” signifies our innovative and creative approach.

Did you raise funding for your venture?

Initially, I used personal savings to fund the startup costs of AMG Concept. As the business grew, we reinvested profits to fuel further expansion.

How did you build your customer base?

We built our customer base through a combination of online marketing strategies, networking, referrals, and delivering excellent results for our early clients. Word-of-mouth recommendations also played a significant role in expanding our clientele.

How do you market your business, and which tactics have been most successful?

Our primary marketing channels include content marketing, social media advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and email marketing. Content marketing and SEO have been particularly successful in driving organic traffic and attracting leads.

What kind of culture exists in your organization, and how did you establish it?

The culture at AMG Concept is one of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. We established this culture by hiring individuals who align with these values and by fostering an open and inclusive work environment.

On average, I work about 10 to 16 hours a day, including weekends, especially during the early stages of the business.

My typical day involves strategizing with my team, client meetings, reviewing campaign performance, and staying updated on industry trends. I also allocate time for personal development and relaxation.

How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Being an entrepreneur requires dedication and time, which can sometimes impact family life. However, I strive to maintain a balance by setting boundaries and prioritizing quality time with my family.

What motivates you?

I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on businesses and help them grow. Additionally, the challenge of continuously learning and adapting in the dynamic field of marketing and creating new software products keeps me motivated.

How do you generate new ideas?

New ideas often come from staying informed about industry trends, analysing data, brainstorming with my team, and seeking inspiration from diverse sources, including books, podcasts, travel, exhibitions and conferences.

What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

My greatest fear is stagnation. I manage it by embracing change, staying adaptable, and continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve our services.

What are your ideals?

My ideals include integrity, excellence, and a commitment to helping businesses succeed. I believe in delivering value to clients and maintaining honesty in all business dealings.

How do you define success?

Success, to me, is achieving a balance between personal and professional goals while making a positive impact on clients and the community. It’s about continuous growth and fulfilment.

Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

While there’s no one-size-fits-all formula, key factors include a clear vision, hard work, resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from failures.

What is your favourite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

My favourite aspect is the ability to see my ideas come to life and create a positive impact on businesses. The autonomy and the opportunity to shape the company’s future are also rewarding.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

The most satisfying moments are when clients achieve significant growth and express their gratitude for our services. Knowing that we have played a role in their success is immensely fulfilling.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone who wants to become an entrepreneur?

My advice would be to start with a clear vision, be prepared for challenges, stay persistent, and never stop learning. Surround yourself with a supportive network, right right-minded people and do not be afraid to take calculated risks.

If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

I would have invested more in acquiring skills early on, learned from experts in business and focused on building a solid foundation of knowledge in my chosen field before launching my business.

What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Leadership: The key skills to lead a team, provide direction and vision, motivate and inspire others to achieve the organization’s goals

Adaptability: The ability to pivot and adapt to changing circumstances.

Communication: Effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

What entrepreneurial tricks have you discovered to keep you focused and productive in your day-to-day busy schedule?

Time management, setting clear priorities, and using productivity tools have been crucial. Regularly reviewing goals and breaking them down into actionable steps also helps maintain focus.

What key activities would you recommend entrepreneurs to invest their time in?

Entrepreneurs should invest time in market research, networking, building a strong team, and ongoing learning. Additionally, dedicating time to long-term strategic planning is essential.

My greatest inspiration has been a combination of successful entrepreneurs like Robert Kiyosaki and Brian Tracy, as well as thought leaders in marketing and technology.

“Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki has been particularly inspiring. It offers valuable insights into what makes companies truly great and sustainable.

If you had a magic wand, which are the three things you would change in the world?

If I had a magic wand, I would work to promote acts of kindness, eradicate poverty and environmental sustainability.
