Singapore Launches its Latest US$800 Million Economic Support Package to Help Businesses During Phase 2 Restrictions (Heightened Alert)

In view of the Phase 2 heightened alert restrictions 22 July 2021 to 18 August 2021, Singapore introduced its latest US$800 Million economic support package to help workers and  businesses as they strive to adapt to the ever-changing protocols and regulations. 

This support package will include enhanced Jobs Support Scheme for affected sectors, rental relief for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and eligible non-profit organisations, support for market and hawker centre stallholders, enhanced COVID-19 Driver Relief Fund for taxi and private hire car drivers, and the extension of COVID-19 Recovery Grant-Temporary from end-July to end-August.
