Singapore Lays Out Plan to Make the Country a Hub for E-Commerce

Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Amazon to launch new training programmes to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as they showcase their products overseas through the e-commerce grant.

According to Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing, the programmes will be created to cover various capabilities such as optimisation, customer service and international demand generation. 

Part of a five-pronged strategy, this initiative will be used to promote Singapore as a regional and global e-commerce hub.
