Singapore to Fine-Tune its Foreign Worker Policies

According to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the government is set to adjust the city’s foreign worker policies to address issues accepting overseas workers as well as the economic and social concerns of its citizens. 

“We have to adjust our policies to manage the quality, numbers and concentrations of foreigners in Singapore,” Lee said on the eve of Singapore’s National Day. “If we do this well, we can continue to welcome foreign workers and new immigrants, as we must.
